Ho Chi Minh - Vietnam

Arriving in Ho Chi Minh ( which was previously named Saigon ) on a dark, raining evening and riding in van to the hotel for 45 mins among thousands of motorbikes! They are at least 3 abreast and sometimes more, driving in front, behind and in between !!!!!!!! First time we have had "Right-hand drive", since the middle of August.

Sunday is always market day and we are very close to the All Dong Market in China Town. This huge warehouse is a wholesale market so many vendors are purchasing in bulk to sell in other markets. We look a little out of place.
Outside the warehouse of dry goods starts the fruit, vegetables, flowers and fresh fish and sea food.
The fruit is gorgeous and delicious. A basket of local fresh fruit even awaited us in our hotel room. Nice touch!!
A glimpse of the number of motorcycles sitting at the side of the market. It is something else to cross the street as the bikes go when the pedestrians go !!! You have to be very careful not to have bags or anything on you that a by passer might grab, including jewellery! 8,000,000 People and millions of motorbikes.
