Bangkok

Update on Bangkok.
We were stuck in Chaing Mai no flights out. Trains & Buses fully booked for 2days until Monday.
Thai airlines gave us a full credit $221.00 and a taxi driver Micheal gave us a deal to drive us to Bangkok $222.00 and 10hrs later Sat night we are in Bangkok.
Hopefully protest is over by Sat Dec 6th when we leave for Veitnam.
Just recieved word protest is over flights to resume Dec 4th, now hoping flights are leaving Sat airlines say exisiting reservations have priority we will see.

Our first day in bangkok we visited the Market. This is a Durin fruit, locals call Jack fruit. Very sweet also stinks not allowed in any Hotels.
Lots of vendors this one sells special tea made with condensed milk and sugar delicious!!
Signs of Christmas in a Buddhist Country.
In a large Mall we see a huge Christmas tree. This is all we have seen and makes us home sick but not long until we see the family.
The New Moon lined up with Venus and Jupiter produces a smiley face which in Thailand is Good Luck.

Traffic in Bangkok at night. Like this at rush hour everyday.
