City Tour - HCM

As we toured the War Remnants Museum, it gave us a very different outlook to the Vietnam war and the U.S. involvement.
We were then taken to the Handicapped Handicrafts where the artists are all victims of the war. We were very impressed with the mother-of-pearl, egg shell, and lacquered ware as the tour had a huge impact on us.
Independence Palace had a huge Chinese and French influence. Rooms are all furnished as it was when the President resided in the building, complete with a helicopter and pad on the roof.
Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica where we watched 2 future brides posing for their wedding pictures days before the ceremony. ( a custom unlike ours)
Another China Town wholesale market........ 2 story, huge warehouse.
