Pamukkale - The Travertine Pools

Day 6 - Calciumized water seeps from the side of the mountain and forms petrified stalactites and pools along the side of the mountain.
The mountain side looks like a cotton castle from a distance.
Mineral pool about a 1/2metre deep.
You can climb from pool to pool in bare feet only.
Unesco declared it a World Heritage Site. It is a beautiful view from the top.

It also the site of many Roman ruins.

Good Morning Webbs!!

Look at you two go! It's actually quite difficult to photograph Pamukkale and you've done such a nice job of it.

Saw Jennifer at Java Studio yesterday and she asked about you.

I've also added your blog to my "blog roll", if you want to see even more pictures of Istanbul, (and Turkey, Canada, Greece and the UAE), check out my blog at -http://3-beekmanplace.blogspot.com/

See you again soon!
